Murray State to unveil renovated student recreation and wellness center

MURRAY, Ky. (KBSI) — Murray State University is preparing to unveil updates to its Bauernfeind Student Recreation and Wellness Center ahead of the fall semester.

University officials said students returning to campus this fall will find new carpet, updated furniture, new fitness equipment and additional amenities throughout the facility.

The university will celebrate the renovations with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 17 at the Bauernfeind Student Recreation and Wellness Center.

The refresh is part of Murray State’s continued investment in campus facilities and student wellness.
