Mercy Health Foundation Southeast to host annual Golf Classic in September

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) — Mercy Health Foundation Southeast will host its annual Mercy Golf Classic on Monday, Sept. 14, to raise money for patients facing financial hardship across southeast Missouri.
The tournament will be held at Dalhousie Golf Club, 4700 Cords Way in Cape Girardeau, with shotgun starts scheduled for 7:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Participants will receive a continental breakfast beginning at 6:30 a.m. and lunch at 11:30 a.m.
According to the foundation, proceeds from the event help provide financial assistance to patients for transportation, lodging, medications, medical equipment and other healthcare-related needs.
“The Mercy Golf Classic is an event we are always excited to host each year,” Mercy Health Foundation Southeast Executive Director Darah Jirkovsky said in a statement. “It brings our community together in a meaningful way, and the proceeds stay local to support patients throughout Southeast Missouri.”
Registration is open for individuals and teams of four or eight. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
