Perryville-produced horror film gets new title ahead of release

PERRYVILLE, Mo. (KBSI) — A feature film produced in Perryville is getting a new name as it prepares for worldwide distribution.

According to 573 Magazine, The Spring, produced by Motion Dog Films, has been renamed Blood Spring at the request of its film distributor.

The distributor requested a title that would better reflect the film’s horror genre, according to the announcement.

Motion Dog Films thanked the cast, crew and community members who helped bring the project to completion and into distribution.
