Lane restriction lifted on U.S. 51 Ohio River bridge

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — The lane restriction on the U.S. 51 Ohio River “Cairo” Bridge between Wickliffe, Kentucky, and Cairo, Illinois, has been lifted.

Transportation officials said the Nonredundant Steel Tension Member climbing inspection was completed by noon Friday, July 24.

Normal traffic flow has resumed on the bridge.
