MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — KYTC plans to close a section of KY 2606/Jackson School Road in Marshall County on Wednesday, July 29, for a pipe replacement project.
Where: Between KY 58/Mayfield Highway and Phillips Road, or mile points 4.4 to 5.
When: Between 6 AM and 2 PM, weather permitting.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will impose daytime lane restriction on Clarks River bridges on Benton Road and Clarks River Road in McCracken County on Thursday.

According to a traffic alert from KYTC, work hours will be between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Once work is completed. lane restrictions will be lifted.

“The bridge on Benton Road is located near mile point 2.35, between Pugh Road and Beckham Avenue. The Bridge on Clarks River Road is located near mile point 18.6, about one mile east of its intersection with John Puryear Drive,” the alert read.

KYTC says drivers should be alert for signage, flaggers and trucks with arrow boards guiding traffic in the work zone.

Route MM in Butler County will be closed as contractor crews replace the bridge deck over Harviell Ditch.

The bridge is located between County Road355 and County Road 373.

Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, Aug. 18 at 6 a.m. with completion anticipated Monday, Nov. 30. The road will remain closed until the work is complete.
