Water main break disrupts service across Carterville

CARTERVILLE, Ill., (KBSI) — All Carterville Water customers are experiencing a service interruption Friday morning because of a major water main break, according to city officials.

A boil-water order will take effect when service is restored. The city did not immediately provide an estimated restoration time.

Customers should continue following the boil order until officials announce it has been lifted.
