Free Perryville event to connect growing families with local resources

PERRYVILLE, Mo., (KBSI) — Expecting parents, new mothers and families with young children can learn about local support services during a free community event Friday in Perryville.

Lutheran Family and Children’s Services and the Perry County Health Department will host “Bellies, Babies & Beyond” from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 7 at the Perry Park Center, 800 City Park Drive.

The resource fair will allow families to meet directly with service providers and learn about early childhood development, medical care, parenting assistance and other programs available in Perry County and surrounding communities.

LFCS also provides year-round case management for Perry County parents raising children of any age. The service is supported by the Perry County Youth Tax Board.

Admission is free.
