Carbondale distributes fresh food boxes to local households

CARBONDALE, Ill., (KBSI) — City of Carbondale staff teamed up Friday to distribute fresh food boxes to local households.

City officials thanked employees and volunteers for helping organize and operate the distribution, saying the effort highlighted the city’s commitment to serving the community.

Officials also recognized Cusumano & Sons, Inc. for partnering with the city to provide fresh, nutritious food to residents and thanked community members who participated in the event.
