Police seek public’s help locating missing New Hampshire man last seen in Marion

CARBONDALE, Ill., (KBSI) — The Carbondale Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man who has not been in contact with his family for several months.

Police said 43-year-old Peter E. Richards of New Hampshire was reported missing after officers learned Aug. 5 that his family had not heard from him since May.

Richards is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing about 155 pounds, with gray hair and green eyes. No clothing description was available.

According to police, Richards was last seen June 4 in the 300 block of West Fourth Street in Marion. Investigators said he has also frequented Carbondale in the past.

Anyone with information about Richards’ whereabouts is asked to contact the Carbondale Police Department.
