Cape Girardeau County Historical Society to celebrate 100 years with arts, music festival

JACKSON, Mo., (KBSI) — The Cape Girardeau County Historical Society will celebrate its 100th anniversary with its third annual Arts, Crafts & Music Festival on Saturday, Aug. 22.

The festival will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Jackson Civic Center, 381 E. Deerwood Drive. Admission is free.

The event will feature creators, collections and arts demonstrations, along with live regional musicians throughout the day.

Food trucks will also be available during the festival.

The event is being held in celebration of the Cape Girardeau County Historical Society’s centennial. The organization was established in 1926.
