Randolph County Sheriff’s Office receives donation of patrol rifles, ammunition

RANDOLPH COUNTY, Ill., (KBSI) — The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office has received a donation of three patrol rifles and ammunition from Zanders Sporting Goods.

Sheriff Jarrod Peters announced the donation Thursday, thanking Stefanie Zanders and the company for its support of the department.

The rifles and ammunition will be issued to patrol deputies, according to the sheriff’s office.

Peters said the donated equipment will provide deputies with additional resources while serving the community.

The sheriff’s office thanked Zanders Sporting Goods for its continued support of local law enforcement.
