Cornhole fundraiser supports Crisis Intervention Team

JACKSON, Mo., (KBSI) – A cornhole fundraiser brought community members together to support the Crisis Intervention Team at Wings Etc.

The event began with a brief rain shower, but organizers dried the boards and continued with the tournament. Attendees enjoyed music, food and drinks while supporting the Crisis Intervention Team.

Seven new sponsor boards from BD Boards were also used during the tournament.

Following round-robin play, competitors were divided into two brackets.

In the A bracket, Tyler and Zach Shaw took first place. Brenden and Parker Burford finished second, while Landon and Gavin Lesch placed third.

In the B bracket, Joseph Hartlein and Zachary Flath took first place. Nate and John finished second, while Brandon and Monica placed third.

Organizers thanked Wings Etc. for hosting the fundraiser, along with the sponsors, players and community members who supported the event.
