Mayfield woman arrested in methamphetamine trafficking investigation

MAYFIELD, Ky., (KBSI) — A Mayfield woman was arrested Tuesday night following an undercover investigation into methamphetamine sales, according to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said information about suspected methamphetamine sales in the Mayfield area led investigators to 30-year-old Nycole D. Fox.
During the investigation, authorities purchased suspected crystal methamphetamine from Fox near Maple Avenue and North 13th Street around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, according to the sheriff’s office.
Sheriff’s detectives arrested Fox shortly afterward.
Fox is charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to the sheriff’s office, Fox was out on bond from a previous arrest for possession of methamphetamine. Authorities also said she has previous convictions for possession of methamphetamine and trafficking in marijuana.
The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office and Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force assisted in the investigation.
Fox was taken to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office before being transported to an out-of-county detention center.
