Herrin House of Hope seeks community support for southern Illinois programs

HERRIN, Ill., (KBSI) — Herrin House of Hope is seeking volunteers and donations to help continue several programs serving people in southern Illinois.

The organization operates from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday at 112 N. 14th St. in Herrin.

Herrin House of Hope offers a community soup kitchen, food pantry and thrift store, along with free GED classes and a free summer meal program.

The organization said individuals, families and neighbors of all ages are welcome to get involved. Volunteers can assist by giving their time and labor, while community members can also support the organization through donations.
