Jackson R-2 Foundation awards nearly $15,000 in grants to high school teachers

JACKSON, Mo., (KBSI) — Jackson High School teachers are receiving nearly $15,000 in grant funding to bring new resources, opportunities and experiences into their classrooms.

The Jackson R-2 Foundation awarded $14,818 in grants to teachers at Jackson High School ahead of the first week of school.

According to the school, the funding will go directly to teachers to help bring their ideas to life and provide additional opportunities and resources designed to support student learning and success.

Jackson High School thanked the foundation for its continued investment in the district’s teachers and students.
