Dragons take over the Paducah riverfront for race day

PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) — It’s race day on the Paducah riverfront as the River Discovery Center Dragon Boat Festival gets underway Saturday.

Teams will take to the Ohio River beginning at 9 a.m. for a full day of dragon boat racing.

The festival also features food, drinks, children’s activities and other entertainment along the riverfront.

Spectators are encouraged to come downtown, cheer on the teams and enjoy the festivities.

The annual Dragon Boat Festival serves as a fundraiser for the River Discovery Center and its educational programs.
