Operation Relentless Pursuit captures 33 wanted people in August

PULASKI COUNTY, Mo., (KBSI) — Operation Relentless Pursuit helped law enforcement take approximately 33 wanted people into custody across the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Troop I region during August, according to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office.

The operation helped locate or apprehend 17 people wanted on Pulaski County warrants. The warrants involved allegations ranging from drug offenses and probation violations to domestic assault and armed criminal action.

Authorities also seized methamphetamine, fentanyl, oxycodone, drug paraphernalia and two firearms allegedly possessed by convicted felons.

The sheriff’s office said one person wanted in Pulaski County was tracked to Iowa. Another was discovered hiding beneath a trapdoor built into a homemade bed frame.

Operation Relentless Pursuit is a joint effort involving the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, Missouri State Highway Patrol, U.S. Marshals Service and other law enforcement agencies.
