The Ground-A-Bout closes all locations immediately

JACKSON, Mo., (KBSI) – The Ground-A-Bout announced that all its locations are closing immediately, ending nearly 10 years in business.

In a social media post, the owner said employees were informed Sunday evening that the business initially planned to close Sept. 12. However, unspecified circumstances forced the locations to close earlier than planned.

The business would have marked its 10th anniversary in December.

The owner blamed the closure in part on the current economic environment for small businesses and thanked customers for their support over the years.

“I’m so, so sorry we’re closing up like this,” the post said.
