Two drivers injured in McCracken County crash

McCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday night in McCracken County.

Deputies responded around 9:47 p.m. to the 6100 block of Benton Road.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office said 18-year-old Jasline English of Paducah was turning north onto Benton Road from a parking lot when her vehicle collided with a southbound Chevrolet Cobalt near Lakeside Drive.

The Cobalt was driven by 39-year-old Sasha Floyd of Paducah.

Both drivers were taken to a local hospital. Authorities said Floyd suffered incapacitating injuries, while English suffered injuries described as nonincapacitating.

The Reidland-Farley Fire Department, Mercy Regional EMS and Bailey’s Towing assisted at the scene.

Note: The original release identifies English’s vehicle as a “2014 Lincoln Acura,” which appears to combine two different vehicle brands. I left the make out pending confirmation.
