SEMO construction prompts traffic restrictions on North Pacific Street

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Ameren Missouri is expected to begin work along North Pacific Street as early as Sept. 8.

Crews will begin near the Broadway intersection and move north toward the College Hill intersection. Traffic will be reduced to one lane, with periodic road closures, Monday through Friday until approximately Oct. 13, weather permitting.

Drivers are urged to slow down, follow posted signs and use caution in the work zone.

The infrastructure improvements are being completed in conjunction with construction underway on the Southeast Missouri State University campus.
