MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — Overnight detours planned on Interstate 24 westbound between Exit 31 (Grand Rivers) and Exit 27 (Kentucky Dam/Calvert City), starting Tuesday, Sept. 8, as part of an ongoing work zone in Marshall County.
Route 67 in St. Francois County will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction while construction crews perform pavement repairs.
This section of roadway is from Route JJ to Route 221 in Farmington, Missouri. Drivers should anticipate short, intermittent lane reductions in the vicinity of the work zone.
Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, Sept. 15 through Friday, Oct. 16 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Flaggers and a pilot car will be in place to guide traffic.
As work is underway, the work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
