Tara Modglin joins Cape Gastroenterology Specialists

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Tara E. Modglin, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified family nurse practitioner, has joined Cape Gastroenterology Specialists, according to Saint Francis Healthcare System.
Modglin graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 2026 and is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
She will provide care for patients with conditions affecting the digestive system and liver, including gastroesophageal reflux disease, Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
Modglin said she is passionate about improving patient outcomes through preventive care, including early colorectal cancer screenings.
“I’m excited to continue growing in this specialty while helping patients improve their health through education, prevention and evidence-based care,” Modglin said.
Cape Gastroenterology Specialists provides inpatient and outpatient services for the diagnosis, management and treatment of digestive disorders. The practice also operates a gastroenterology lab.
