High-fives before kickoff: St. Vincent athletes bring school spirit to morning drop-off

PERRYVILLE, Mo., (KBSI) – St. Vincent Catholic Schools football players and cheerleaders greeted elementary students Friday morning, Sept. 4, to build school spirit ahead of the season’s first home football game.
The athletes welcomed students with high-fives and cheers as they arrived at school, according to a school social media post.

The school said the visit helped build connections between younger students and high school athletes. The Indians’ home opener is scheduled for Friday night.
