Dunklin County Sheriff’s Office collecting coats for winter drive

KENNETT, Mo., (KBSI) — The Dunklin County Sheriff’s Office is partnering with First State Community Bank for its annual winter coat drive.

Community members are encouraged to donate coats to help ensure local residents, particularly children, have warm clothing this winter.

A donation box is available in the lobby of the Dunklin County Sheriff’s Office. Donations may be dropped off from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Sheriff Nick Darter said the drive gives local businesses, organizations and residents an opportunity to work together to support their neighbors.
