Charleston High School students visit 9/11 memorial exhibit

CHARLESTON, Mo., (KBSI) — Charleston High School JAG students visited a 9/11 memorial exhibit in downtown Charleston as part of their annual study of the terrorist attacks.
The “Front Page News” exhibit at Day 3 Seeds featured videos, displays and discussions about Sept. 11, 2001, and its aftermath.
A hand-built model of the World Trade Center’s twin towers served as the exhibit’s centerpiece. It displayed 24 newspaper front pages published Sept. 12, 2001, featuring headlines and commentary from around the world.
Mike and Jean Mueller of Day 3 Seeds shared stories about the attacks and the days that followed. Students were also served food and cookies during the visit.
JAG specialist Kyle Johnson thanked Day 3 Seeds and the Mueller family for supporting the Charleston R-I School District and local education.
