Donations sought for Du Quoin businesses, employees affected by fire

DU QUOIN, Ill., (KBSI) — A relief fund has been established to help businesses and employees affected by the Sept. 2 fire in Du Quoin.

First United Methodist Church in Carbondale said all money raised through the Du Quoin Fire Relief Fund will go directly to the affected businesses and employees.

Checks may be made payable to the “Du Quoin Fire Relief Fund.” Cash donations may be dropped off at the Du Quoin Tourism Office, 20 N. Chestnut St.
