Portion of Cape LaCroix Recreational Trail to close for repairs

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — A portion of the Cape LaCroix Recreational Trail will close Thursday, Sept. 17, for maintenance.

The closure will affect a section south of the trail entrance near the Arena Park sand volleyball courts.

Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation staff will repair a pipe beneath the trail and restore the affected section. Officials hope to complete the project by the end of the week and reopen the trail section by the weekend.
