GRAVES COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — A Mayfield woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday at the intersection of the Kentucky 80 East Bypass and U.S. 45 South.

Graves County sheriff’s deputies and Mayfield-Graves County EMS responded to the crash around 11:50 a.m.

Investigators determined that 56-year-old Cynthia Holland was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado east on Kentucky 80. The truck was pulling a single-axle trailer carrying a lawn mower.

As Holland entered the intersection, a 2020 International box truck driven by 37-year-old Tyler Trevathan of Benton turned in front of her, according to the sheriff’s office.

Holland’s pickup struck the rear wheels of the box truck, causing it to spin.

Holland was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

The Mayfield-Graves County Fire and Rescue Squad also assisted at the scene.
