McCracken County man accused of trafficking meth while on felony probation

McCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — A McCracken County man was arrested Friday morning after investigators allegedly found five bags of suspected crystal methamphetamine inside his home.

Detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office Drug Division searched a residence on Clarks River Road as part of an investigation into suspected drug activity.

Deputies said they found 47-year-old Keith L. Knight inside the home. During the search, investigators allegedly recovered five bags containing suspected methamphetamine and cash believed to be proceeds from drug sales.

Knight was arrested on charges of second or subsequent offense trafficking in methamphetamine and failure to notify the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet of an address change.

According to the sheriff’s office, Knight was on felony probation for previous drug-trafficking offenses when he was arrested.

Knight was booked into the McCracken County Regional Jail.
