SEMO football ticket fundraiser to support mental health services

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Southeast Missouri State University football fans can support mental health resources in southeast Missouri through a ticket fundraiser during the Redhawks’ Senior Day game against UT Martin.
The game is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at Houck Field.
Through SEMO Athletics’ 573 Day program, $5.73 from each ticket purchased through the Community Counseling Center Foundation’s designated link will benefit the foundation. Tickets purchased through participating organizations’ 573 Day links are also discounted 25% from the walk-up price.
“People don’t always realize how much small actions can add up to make a real difference,” Community Counseling Center Foundation Executive Director Michelle Ramsey said. “If you’re already planning to spend a Saturday cheering on the Redhawks, purchasing your ticket through our link is an easy way to also support mental health resources right here in our community.”
The Community Counseling Center Foundation raises money to support Community Counseling Center programs and services throughout southeast Missouri.
Foundation funding helps pay for resources outside traditional funding sources, including therapeutic tools, youth resources and wellness materials.
The Nov. 21 matchup will close SEMO’s 2026 conference schedule and serve as Senior Day, recognizing senior players during their final home game at Houck Field.
Tickets must be purchased through the Community Counseling Center Foundation’s designated 573 Day link for the foundation to receive the $5.73 contribution.
