New memorial pavilion opens at Cape Girardeau Veterans Home

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — A new pavilion honoring Neil and Alberta Dugan has opened at the Cape Girardeau Veterans Home.

The Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Neil & Alberta Dugan Memorial Pavilion.

The pavilion was made possible through a donation from the Dugan family and was named in memory of Neil and Alberta Dugan.

The new space will provide Veterans Home residents with an area to gather, visit with family members and participate in activities and special events.

The Cape Girardeau Veterans Home Foundation also helped support the project.

The pavilion is located on the grounds of the Cape Girardeau Veterans Home.
