Bicyclist injured in Carbondale; traffic flow restored

CARBONDALE, Ill., (KBSI) — Police remain at the scene of an incident involving an injured bicyclist on East Main Street, west of Reed Station Road.

Westbound traffic was initially restricted to one lane while emergency crews responded. Traffic flow has since been restored, but drivers should slow down and use caution near the scene.

The extent of the bicyclist’s injuries has not been released. Additional information was not immediately available.
