PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) — Road Closure! A paving project begins Wednesday, Sept. 23, on South 5th Street between Washington and Clark streets, in front of City Hall. Milling begins Sept. 23. Paving is expected to be completed by the end of the week. All lanes will be closed during the project.
Visitors to City Hall can use streetside parking on Washington or Clark streets or the public parking lot on Clark Street.
Westbound Route 60 in Shannon County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs.
This section of roadway is located from Route E to Route FF in Birch Tree, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Sept. 28 and Tuesday, Sept. 29 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) will conduct ramp closures on Interstate 24 in Rutherford County.
Beginning the weekend of September 25 and continuing for four consecutive weekends, contracted crews will conduct intermittent lane and ramp closures along I-24 to facilitate concrete repair operations.
Each weekend, ramp closures are expected to begin with an overnight closure starting at 8 p.m. Thursday until 5 a.m. Friday. The ramps will close again from 8 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Sunday morning.
Motorists should use caution and remain alert to changing traffic conditions while traveling through the work areas. Advance signage will be in place to alert motorists of the closures and changes in traffic patterns.
