Ameren Illinois crews compete in National Gas Rodeo

MARION, Ill., (KBSI) — Ameren Illinois employees from Marion, Peoria and Springfield recently competed in the National Gas Rodeo, a competition designed to test skills used by natural gas crews.

Teams competed in challenges focused on safety, accuracy, efficiency and teamwork.

Ameren Illinois said the competition gives employees an opportunity to demonstrate skills they use while maintaining and operating natural gas systems across the state.

The company said employees representing its Marion, Peoria and Springfield operations participated in this year’s event.
