Vienna High School rallies behind student diagnosed with cancer

VIENNA, Ill., (KBSI) — Vienna High School students and staff wore yellow Tuesday to support sophomore Cole Waters, who was recently diagnosed with osteosarcoma, according to the school.

The Student Council is collecting donations for Waters and his family during advisory periods each day through Friday. Donations can be given to advisory teachers.

In a message to Waters, the school said students and staff are thinking of him and look forward to his return.
