Paducah to host free Fall for Southside event Oct. 3

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — A free community event Saturday, Oct. 3, will celebrate Paducah’s Southside neighborhood with food, music and activities at Robert Coleman Park.

The city’s Community Development Department will host Fall for Southside from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the park, 1100 Walter Jetton Blvd.

Activities will include games for children, pony rides, face painting and pumpkin painting. Free chicken strips, nachos and barbecue will be available while supplies last.

Caldwell Street between Walter Jetton Boulevard and South Ninth Street will be closed to vehicle traffic from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for attendee safety.

Community Development Department staff will answer questions about housing incentive programs and the Southside Revitalization Plan, which the Paducah Board of Commissioners adopted in August 2025.

The event aims to bring neighbors together and celebrate the Southside Neighborhood Revitalization Program.
