Firefighters contain garage fire near home on Old Hinkleville Road

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — Firefighters contained a garage fire near a home Tuesday night on Old Hinkleville Road, according to the Concord Fire Department.

Concord, West McCracken and Kevil fire departments were dispatched about 9:04 p.m. Sept. 29. Crews arrived to find a garage engulfed in flames close to a residence.

Firefighters used hose lines to prevent further damage to the home, the department said. Crews worked for about 2½ hours before returning to service.

The department did not provide information about injuries or the cause of the fire.
