Murray man convicted of sexually abusing child under 12

MURRAY, Ky., (KBSI) — A Murray man was found guilty Sept. 28 of first-degree sexual abuse involving a child younger than 12, according to the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office.

Jones, 55, was convicted in Calloway County court of the Class C felony. The conviction followed a July 2025 indictment stemming from a case presented by the sheriff’s office.

The release did not include sentencing information.
