Greenville R-II School District mourns student’s death, offers counseling support

GREENVILLE, Mo., (KBSI) — The Greenville R-II School District is providing additional counselors and support for students and staff following the death of a student.

In a social media statement, the district expressed condolences to the student’s family, friends, classmates and others affected by the loss.

“This loss will be felt deeply by our students, staff, and community,” the district said.

The district asked the community to respect the family’s privacy. It did not identify the student or provide details about the death.
