Harrisburg police seek public’s help identifying suspect in UTV theft

HARRISBURG, Ill., (KBSI) — The Harrisburg Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a man suspected of stealing a utility task vehicle, or UTV, from a local business.

According to police, the theft occurred at a business in the Gaskins City neighborhood.

Investigators say the suspect was captured on surveillance video stealing the vehicle.

Police are asking anyone who recognizes the man or has information about the theft to contact the Harrisburg Police Department.

Tips can also be submitted through the Harrisburg PD tip411 app, which allows users to remain anonymous.

The investigation is ongoing.
