CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Multicultural Business Development Alliance of Cape Girardeau will host its first Multicultural Business Expo and Dinner on Saturday, Nov. 14, to support local entrepreneurs and small businesses.

The event will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Shawnee Park Center in Cape Girardeau.

Participants will attend weekly sessions, complete practical assignments and receive guidance from business professionals. The program will conclude with a business presentation designed to help participants prepare to launch or expand their businesses.

Founded in 2023, the Multicultural Business Development Alliance is a nonprofit organization focused on supporting businesses in historically underserved communities.

Organizers said proceeds from the event will also support mentorship, business education and networking opportunities throughout the region.
