Cape Girardeau renter heads to court for renting issues

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – A Cape Girardeau resident will soon be heading to court with her realtor after being summoned to court for back rent. 

Diane Holivay, the renter, says she hopes they come to a fair conclusion because she wants to stay in her home.

“That’s just not right. We have to take our personal feelings even though I just gave my opinion, but we have to take our personal feelings out of a business relationship and look at it for what it is. I’m willing to pay I want a home to stay in,” said Holivay.
