Recall Alert: Popular candy and off-road vehicles

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Yamaha is recalling over 4,000 of its Wolverine RMAX off-road side-by-side vehicles. The company says they can have a damaged fuel tank, causing fuel to leak; this poses fire and explosion hazards.

If you have these recalled vehicles, contact an authorized Yamaha dealer to schedule a free inspection and repair. Yamaha is also contacting all registered owners directly.

Be careful of what type of candy you have lying around because certain varieties of skittles, starbursts and life savers are being recalled.

Mars Wrigley Confectionery issued the recall because of the potential presence of a very thin metal strand embedded in the gummies or loose in the bag.

The company received reports from consumers alerting them to this matter, but they are not aware of any illnesses to date. The company is working with retailers right now to remove the recalled candy from store shelves.

If you think you bought a recalled item, the company is also asking you to throw it away.
