1 arrested, 3 wanted after police chase ends in Poplar Bluff

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (KBSI) – One man was arrested and police are looking for three others after a police chase that started in Arkansas ended in Poplar Bluff Monday morning.

The Poplar Bluff Police Department was notified of a vehicle chase coming to the Poplar Bluff area at 5:06 a.m. on Monday, March 18.

Corning police officers were chasing a vehicle northbound on Highway 67.

Poplar Bluff officers responded to the area and found the suspect vehicle had crashed just east of the Hwy. 67 bypass on Highway PP. Police say the four people in the vehicle ran away on foot.

During a search of the area, Poplar Bluff officers became involved in a foot chase. They arrested one of the suspects, identified as Nathaniel Garrett, 21, of Florissant.

The other three suspects are still at large. The suspects are described as three, black males in their early-20s. One suspect has long hair. Another was wearing a white t-shirt and dark pants. The description of the fourth subject is unknown.

Residents of the area are asked to notify area law enforcement if they see anyone matching the descriptions.

The suspect are considered armed and dangerous.
