1 arrested after deputies say drugs found in Sikeston home

SIKESTON, Mo. (KBSI) – One person was arrested after authorities served a search warrant at a home in Sikeston Thursday.

New Madrid County Sheriff’s deputies and the SEMO Drug Task Force served a search warrant at a home located at 125 Barnett Street in Sikeston on June 6.

During the search, deputies say they found a large amount of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

One suspect was taken in to custody. He is being held in Mississippi County Jail.

He faces charges of trafficking drugs 1st degree and unlawful use of a weapon.
