1 Dead, 1 Injured in Marion crash

MARION, Ill., (KBSI) — A two-vehicle crash in Marion left one person dead and another injured Tuesday morning.

The accident occurred around 7:08 a.m. at the intersection of W. Main Street and Boswell Road.

The driver of one vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other driver was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

As of 10 a.m., W. Main Street remained closed.

The Illinois State Police are investigating the crash, and no further information was immediately available.
