1 injured in shooting in Colp, IL

COLP, Ill. (KBSI) – The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that happened in Colp on Sunday, July 10.

The sheriff’s office responded to a home at 204 S. Lincoln Street in Colp about 2:12 p.m. on Sunday.

When deputies arrived, they found a 24-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital for his injuries.

A person of interest has been identified. The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate.
