2 people in custody after officers respond to fight
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – Two people is in custody after officers say they responded to a fight.
According to Cape Public Information’s Officer Bobby Newton on December 2, 2024, at about 7:45 p.m. officers responded to the 2800-Block of Whitener for a report of several individuals fighting.
One person was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and one person was taken into custody pending formal charges.
After leaving the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, that person was then taken into custody.
This investigation is ongoing.
