17-year-old killed in Paducah shooting, police investigating

PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) — A 17-year-old died after a shooting late Monday night in Paducah, according to the Paducah Police Department.
Officers responded around 10:55 p.m. to the 1000 block of Bronson Avenue after receiving reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found the 17-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound and provided first aid until emergency medical personnel arrived.
The victim was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, where he later died.
Police have not released the victim’s identity.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. Detectives are asking anyone with information to contact the Paducah Police Department at 270-444-8550 or submit an anonymous tip through West Kentucky Crime Stoppers.
