19-year-old arrested for shooting in Cedar Hill, MO

CEDAR HILL, MO (KBSI) – An arrest was made following a shooting on Jul. 20 in Cedar Hill, MO.

Deputies responded to a fight in progress at the Cedar Hill River Access at 7000 block of Cedar Hill Road. While deputies were investigating, another unrelated fight broke out where the suspect allegedly drew a hand gun, shooting the victim multiple times despite deputies being several feet away. Police arrested 19-year-old Hunter Kilpatrick of House Springs, MO.
The 21-year-old victim was taken to a hospital and is undergoing treatment.

Kilpatrick is facing the following charges:

  • Assault – 1st Degree, unlawful use of weapon
  • 2 counts of armed criminal action

Kilpatrick is being held without bond at Jefferson County Jail.
